The second Topical Workshop in Low Radioactivity Techniques will be organized by the Modane Underground Laboratory and will be held at the CNRS center in Aussois, France, on October 1-4, 2006.
This edition follows the initiative started up with the first LRT workshop, organized by SNOLAB and Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada, in December 2004.
This topical workshop is intended to bring together experts in the field of low background techniques, especially applied to dark matter experiments, double beta decay experiments and neutrino detection in underground laboratories. The scientific program will consist of both invited and contributed talks, with open time for discussion amongst attendants.
IMPORTANT DATES
Deadline for registration: September 15th
Deadline for abstract submission: September 1st
The workshop is partially financed by ILIAS, the European program for the developpement of Astroparticle Physics.
